Overview

As a navy seal and ultra-marathoner, David Goggins has seen and experienced more than the average joe, but that’s not to say it was done easy. In the book, Can’t Hurt Me, he does not offer you vapid motivational quotes. Instead, he gives you a real take of his damaged childhood, abusive father,  and other very real obstacles he had to overcome just to survive. Collectively, it’s a true demonstration of spirit in the face of adversity. Goggins reflects on each of these phases in his life with insight and guided challenges to stimulate connections to reader’s own story.

Opinion

Simply put, this is one of those books that everyone should read. No matter where you are in your life or what you aspire to be, the heart and determination packed into these pages will change your life for the better. Not only that, the book gives you the tools and reference to maintain your progress in life. I personally found myself more motivated, focused, and ambitious after reading!
